We’re looking for experienced freelance writers to contribute to Agora Gallery’s artist profiles, press releases and blogs. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of proven art or art-related writing experience, be deadline-oriented, and write with exceptional English communication skills. An interest in contemporary emerging artists is preferred.

Artist profiles and press releases assist gallery visitors and potential buyers in learning more about each artist. The style should be straightforward and descriptive, not too flowery, unpretentious, and often describing a specific artwork or body of work that will be on view in an upcoming exhibition.

Each blog entry will reinforce Agora Gallery’s reputation for providing continued educational information for artists and collectors alike.

Responsibilities:

Receive and complete assignments over email
Meet deadlines or communicate when additional time may be needed
